Workshop Polycom & OCS at Qconferencing

On 30th of June a workshop around the theme Polycom videoconferencing in a Microsoft OCS environment was organised by Qconferencing in close cooperation with Polycom. A number of larger Polycom customers and prospects took part in this workshop where several scenario's and benefits were demonstrated and highlighted.

The participants concluded that an integration of their Polycom videoconferencing environment into OCS will deliver important added value which will speed up adoption of the video use within their organisation. The enduser will be able to launch video meetings from their familiar Microsoft OCS interface on their desktop and the video conferencing addressbook will be the corporate addressbook managed by microsoft OCS. The user will be able to participate with their PC based microsoft webclient in a videoconference meeting. Also mutlipoint calls with continuous presence, calls to outside the company and calls to ISDN are possible through the Polycom equipment delivering the full flexibility required for inter and intra enterprise communication.
