Securitas, a worldwide leader in security services, introduced at the Safety and Security fair in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, the concept of TeleReceptionist.
The TeleReceptionist brings hospitality services of a receptionist to places which otherwise would not be staffed for practical or cost reasons. The Securitas receptionists, who are located in a central call centre, can welcome visitors at various locations using a high quality video connection. At the call centre side Securitas uses the Eye Catcher technology to ensure the receptionist always looks straight into the camera when talking to a visitor. Additional functionality such as opening doors and printing badges at a distance are options which can be added.
