E-mail endpoint - Please use a virtual e-mail adress with domain name of your organization. This e-mail address will function as system name and will be visable during the video call. Therefor it's advisable to use a name everybody will recognise. (for example departmentname@......com or locationname@.......nl)
Telephone number endpoint - You apply for a number in the global dialling scheme (GDS). This number will be used by video conferencing units to reach each other. To obtain a unique number which is also recognised by the users the GDS organisation has choosen to use "fake" telephone numbers which are copies of your existing telephone numbers. These numbers are unique and linked to your organisation. Videoconferencing and telephony are two completely different techniques so there is no risk to use the same numbering system
